The Alita Classic Brut is produced from the wine made of the Chardonnay grapes. The source wine is specially supplied from the Region of Emilia-Romagna in Northern Italy, because it receives a little sun and has the conditions for grape growing that are very similar to those in the Champagne Region. According to the tasters, the taste of the Alita Classic Brut reminds of a bread crust and nuts.

The award-winning Alita Classic Brut is produced by the traditional method, which is much alike to that of the champagne in France. The method is special in that the sparkling wine is aged in bottles 1 to 3 years where a secondary fermentation of the wine takes place.

Being produced since 2000, the Alita Classic Brut was awarded with a golden medal at the international wine competitions in Moscow (2000) and in the Crimea, Ukraine (2008). It was also awarded with a medal of the international exhibition Agrobalt 2001.

Alita Classic Brut is one of the 11 kinds of sparkling wine produced by ALITA. The company produces sparkling wines by two methods: the traditional, so-called methode traditionelle, where the wine is aged in bottles, and the Charmat, where the wine undergoes a second fermentation in large hermetically sealed tanks.

ALITA produces about 5 million bottles a year of sparkling wine that is sold in Lithuania and abroad: in Great Britain, Germany, Estonia, Latvia and Poland.
